Must be enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate program and have completed sophomore year status of a Bachelor's Degree at an accredited 4-year college.
Must be pursuing computer science, computer or electrical engineering, mathematics, or related degree.
High level of curiosity.
3 years of programming experience.
Exposure to digital electronics.
Any experience with robotics or machine learning technologies (scikit, tensorFlow, Python, Azure Machine Learning Studio) is highly preferred.
Exposure to web technologies (JS, nodeJS, Angular) is highly preferred.

In this internship you will learn how to develop software for Olympus. Depending on your interests, you will be working on projects that range from basic concept development to full-scale product development. During the internship, you will work closely with the Analytical Instrument (ANI) software group within R&D, which is responsible for the Olympus Vanta product. You will gain exposure to the software design, implementation and testing. You will have the opportunity to learn collaboration skills as you work with all parts of the organization.

Support software development, including applications as well as testing software.
Participate in design discussions and brainstorming sessions to discuss new technologies.
Participate in discussions with product owners and learn how our customers use our products.
Work as part of a cross-functional team (including hardware, mechanical, electrical, and FPGA) to realize new features in our products.
