Job Requirements::

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

  • Minimum of 2 years public or private sector accounting experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with NetSuite and Elton is preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot table, filter, formulas).

Job Duties::

  • Maintaining all fixed asset schedules including demo assets.

  • Reconciling demo assets to Elton and match up EQ on regular basis.

  • Booking monthly depreciation expenses and process Journal entries related to disposals/write offs.

  • Working closely with Asset Management Group (AM) in ensuring all demo assets are accounted for properly.

  • Reviewing and evaluating demo asset impairment on regular basis.

  • Assisting in all general accounting activities.

  • Preparing account reconciliation on assigned accounts.

  • Working on implementing a new fixed asset software.

  • Performing all other special projects and other assignments as needed.

The Accountant II will assist the Accounting group in all fixed asset accounting, maintain all fixed asset schedules and depreciations and reconciliations. The incumbent will assist in all general accounting activities including account reconciliation, preparation of financial statements, help out with commissions.
