Olympus America Inc. Senior Key Account Representative in Miami, Florida

Serving as single point of contact to receive, review, enter & monitor orders for both internal & external customers based on assigned regions.
Creating new customer profiles and maintain existing profiles with current customer requirements pertaining to contact information, transportation/delivery and other special needs.
Working with the Business Units, Distributors and/or other departments to resolve order inaccuracies such as product requirements, price differences, shipping information, credit holds, etc.
Responding to inquiries regarding status of customer orders, open orders and back orders daily to ensure ship date commitments are met.
Interfacing daily with Distribution Center and Supply Chain Management to understand inventory impact on order fulfilment/allocation.
Acting as liaison between OLA and customer to research problems/inquiries (i.e. invoice inaccuracies, delivery delays, shortages, damages, etc.) order related providing appropriate responses with correct information to the degree available.
Initiating and implementing corrective actions as needed (i.e.: issue RMA, Credit, Debit, etc.).
Developing relationships with Internal/External personnel, Distributors & End Users to ensure communication, meeting company’s predetermined guidelines.
Handling export procedures, documentation and logistics relating to international customer shipments to locations in Latin America, including invoicing, inspections, certificates of origin, shippers letters of instructions, document negotiation (Letter of Credit, sight drafts, beneficiaries certificate, etc.) flight information & deliveries.
Working closely with freight forwarders on documentation, freight and insurance quotations and to ensure end user delivery commitments are met.
Working with new/existing staff to cross train by country and function for each business group.
Electronic archiving of export files in Doc-View System or other to comply with J-Sox requirements.
Working with suppliers to obtain quality certificates when required as necessary.
Receiving, reviewing, requesting inventory and ship demo orders for assigned regions.
Monitoring time frame of shipped orders based on demo policy guidelines.
Maintaining tracking system of shipped orders and coordinate return into demo inventory.
Performing other related duties as assigned.

High School Degree is required; Associate's Degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years experience in combined customer service and logistics (export) within Latin American Markets/International Trade is required.
Bilingual skills are required: fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese language fluency is preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills are required.
Must possess strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point.
Highly motivated, dedicated, and flexible with the ability to multi- task in a demanding environment.
