Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Architecture.
Minimum of 3 years experience required in Architecture using AutoCAD 2000 or higher on a daily basis in a professional setting.
Audiovisual, electronics or MEP experience is a plus.
Clerical, editorial or writing experience is a plus.
Must be fluent in design and documentation software including AutoCAD, Rivet, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office suite.
Must be fluent in architectural and mechanical drawing conventions.
Strong mechanical sensibility: ability to correctly picture three dimensional objects from orthographic projections.
Strong visual sensibility: ability to create balanced and appealing documents.
Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
Strong inter-personal and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively on a team or individually, with minimal supervision.

As a Site Planner working on the Systems Integration team, you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work. You will contribute to our mission by creating architectural infrastructure drawings, collaborating with designers & sales engineers & gathering site specific project requirements. A typical day for you will include: managing incoming architectural plans in AutoCAD including, floor plans, equipment boom plans & lighting plans, and publishing drawing sets that capture room specific system installation requirements and equipment locations.
Working with Designers, Project Managers and Sales Engineers to create or edit floor plans, elevations, conduit risers, and mounting detail drawings in AutoCAD for each SI Eng project.
Preparing infrastructure drawing packages (in AutoCAD) then publish and file for customer and internal use.
Working directly with customers, architects, engineers, suppliers and field personnel facilitating project requirements.
Collaborating with other Design and Documentation team members to create, document, and enforce standards and procedures.
Creating/editing work instructions using AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office.
Conducting site surveys and capture/verify field measurements as needed.
Performing other duties as required.

The Site Planner creates infrastructure related system design documents using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and assorted product-specific applications. The incumbent ensures that appropriate project-related design documents are created, updated, filed and/or distributed in keeping with project schedules. He/She coordinates architectural requirements for system installations.
