Olympus America Inc. Senior Manager, Employee Experience in Center Valley, Pennsylvania
As a Sr. Employee Experience Manager, you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work. You will contribute to our mission by driving critical Employee Experience initiatives such as volunteer programs, wellness initiatives, employee recognition and convenience services.
Based on the overall Employee Experience strategy, assist in the design and lead the implementation of a best-in-class Employee Experience program by working with key stakeholders to set the direction for employee engagement activities for Olympus employees (5000+) in office, manufacturing and field roles.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance or maintain the program.
Continuously develop, coordinate and measure success of Employee Experience programs such as employee perks, convenience services and wellness program available to employees throughout the US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico, as well as develop and manage a centralized employee recognition program and software platform.
Spearhead expansion of employee volunteer initiatives for all Olympus employees (field and office/ manufacturing site based) by identifying and coordinating volunteering initiatives, performing required due diligence and budget/event management, promoting growth and allegiances with qualified charitable organizations and publicizing the same to internal and external stakeholders to drive participation and meaningful impact in the communities in which Olympus employees live and work.
Partner with key stakeholders to synergize new hire onboarding process to ensure consistent sharing of information in furtherance of the Employee Experience pillars, global values.
Evaluate and understand the functionality of SuccessFactors onboarding to help enhance and automate some of the onboarding process.
Ensure appropriate delivery and content at 15+ Olympus locations and employee populations across the Americas for a meaningful new hire experience.
Activate employee engagement and employee participation in support of Integrated Marketing Communications initiatives in furtherance of regional and global programming priorities, including generating outreach and involvement opportunities for, among other things World Environment Day, Colon Cancer awareness activities and similar company-wide initiatives.
Participate and contribute to the Employee Experience Committee in support of employee engagement initiatives in areas such as Diversity and Inclusion, Talent Acquisition & University Recruiting, Corporate Planning and Strategy and ITS.
Stay current on latest industry trends and best practices that assist in driving recruitment and retention for top talent; apprise management of guidance and possible enhancements to Olympus programs, including reports and summaries from data measurement.
Conduct project plans and implementation strategies to drive successful initiatives.
Assist in the creation of a communication strategy in conjunction with Integrated Marketing Communications to ensure effective internal and external communications. This includes drafting communications around success stories and other types of messaging (social media included) to encourage employee participation and draw the of interest job seekers.
Collaborate on a coordinated events and activities calendar.
Create and implement informational field guides, process maps and similar informational tools for direct distribution of inclusion on the Olympus Intranet site including design, content development and updates.
Track and report on employee experience activities across the Americas to the HR Leadership Team, Olympus Executive Committee and other senior management teams as needed.
Perform all other essential duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, Marketing, Communications or related field is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 6 years demonstrated experience is required in employee engagement programs such as Employee Recognition Programs, Wellness Programs and New Hire OnBoarding, preferably employee volunteer programs as well, event coordination and execution, marketing and communications, and large scale project/process planning.
Demonstrated strong project management skills are required with multi-tasking abilities.
Must be a collaborative team leader and relationship builder who believes in the power of a positive work environment.
Tech savvy with strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential including experience utilizing social media, blogs, and other forms of online communication; prior experience with Employee Recognition, OnBoarding and/or Wellness tools are strongly preferred but daily use of a system/software platform is required.
Must be curious, with a desire to learn new ways of doing things.
Confident and engaging public speaking abilities are desired, including high comfort with presenting materials to internal and external audiences of various crowd sizes.
Must be exceptionally organized, strategic and prepared to work professionally under pressure in a fast-paced, expanding and dynamic corporate environment.
Must be flexible with work schedule to accommodate attendance at or participation in community or corporate events or functions both locally and throughout the US, as needed (up to 25% overnight travel).
