Planning, scheduling, and executing training events commensurate with the needs curriculum both onsite and offsite as part of the CET training partnership with emphasis on critical quality considerations.
Coordinating all technical aspects associated with the annual Olympus Olympics competition.
Performing all other related duties as assigned of the production managers and supervisors for Repair Technicians and Biomedical Engineers as well as complete training records and updates to database.
Leading both instructor led training events as part ofa classroom environment, as well as individual one on one training relative to all technical facets of repair.
Planning recommend training events in support of promoting best practices in building efficiencies across the shop floor through observation of work processes, outputs,and quality trends as well as other KPIs.
Assisting in production supervisors in assessing training needs for individual technicians as well as train the trainer initiatives across MPRG.
Participating in new product introductions to maintain product competency and awareness of critical quality attributes and considerations.
Participating in CCB (Change Control Board) meetings as needed to ensure training material is accurate, complete and consistent with controlled documentation.
Creating and revising training materials consistent with repair manuals and inspection standards.
Performing all other essential duties as assigned.

The Senior Engineering Technician/Trainer is responsible for providing training to Repair Technicians and Biomedical Engineers to ensure technical competencies are met within agreed upon time frames. The incumbent will provide high quality training to MPRG trainers and staff that result in demonstrated competency to perform assigned repairs with sufficient understanding of key quality attributes. He/She must take initiative to actively participate in new product repair introductions necessary to maintain adequate product knowledge and understanding of supporting documentation. The incumbent will work closely with managers and supervisors as well as the training coordinator to ensure training plans and schedules are being executed within a reasonable time frame and training events are documented and databases maintained.
Associate's Degree in scientific or technical related field, or equivalent knowledge.
Minimum of 5 years of production experience.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to work in a multitask environment.
Knowledge of FDA regulations.
